Clone Baby Care: Recognize Babies by Names and Status Cues
Use baby names, named task prompts, handling buttons and overhead icons to recognize who you are caring for and read their visible state.
Look for a baby's displayed name to identify them, then read the task text and overhead icons for their care state. Pick Up and Put Down are handling prompts; a named task tells you which baby needs the listed care.
Names identify the baby
In the nursery, a baby labeled Toto appears with a Pick Up prompt. This gives you a name and an interaction target together. When carrying a baby, the Put Down prompt identifies the available handling action.
Task text can also name the recipient. The Day 5 fever task “[POPO] Fever - Kitchen syrup” identifies POPO as the baby with the fever and points to kitchen syrup for that task. Read the bracketed name alongside the care instruction to keep track of who needs attention.
Overhead icons show care and sleep states
- Poop icon: A Day 2 baby displays this above its head while also offering Pick Up. The icon is a care-state cue attached to that baby; the prompt is the available handling action.
- ZZZ: During the tutorial bedtime sequence, a baby lying in a nursery crib displays ZZZ above it, providing a visible sleep cue.
Use the name to track who, the task or overhead indicator to understand their state, and the interaction prompt to see the available action. For broader care guidance, see the baby care guide.
